Drugstore Cowgirl: Jo Malone + Zara?!?!
I want to be crisp, breezy, natural, and refreshed but it's August and I'm broke
Hello, beloved scent freaks and welcome to another edition of Drugstore Cowgirl. This week’s selection was a fun one because I ordered them online and getting the occasional package in the mail remains a consistent source of joy, especially when the package is full of new things to smell. I checked out the sales on Zara.com and was reminded that Jo Malone herself, formerly of Jo Malone London, which was sold to Estee Lauder in 1999 and hadn’t had anything to do with THE Jo Malone since then, and currently of Jo Loves, does perfumes for Zara.
Zara has nice perfumes in general, imho, and I was curious about their partnership with Malone, who is probably one of the most well-known niche perfumers in the biz. I have samples of those and a few other similar Jo Loves scents. I like them when I want a crisp white shirt, perfectly proportioned faded jeans, maybe a jaunty neckerchief and a perfectly aged vintage Coach bag vibe, which is not my general style because I’m not tall, thin, and rich and also I can get the same feeling from my beloved, inexpensive 4711.
