F Jordan Catalano, Raylan Givens is the ultimate leaner. The way he moves in Justified is so sexy! I remember watching Go and my brain saying his character was bad news but everything else telling Katie Holmes to go for it.
I also couldn't click fast enough! I'll never forgive Netflix for cancelling "Santa Clarita Diet". Timothy and Drew are so so good together, and I (*SPOILER ALERT*) reeeeaaallly wanted to see how Joel presented after he became undead. I would have to vote Joel, but no one has yet to mention the 2006 film "Catch and Release", one of my favorites. It didn't get very good reviews at the time, but it's the perfect rainy day movie and Timothy is, as usual, a delight in it. And I recently learned that he's a bona fide ceramic artist. Who knew?
He contains multitudes! I emphatically add my voice to yours in the chorus of eternal grudge-holders against the cancellation of Santa Clarita Diet. Gone way way way too soon. I've never seen Catch & Release, but as I'm always on the lookout for perfect rainy day movies, I'll add it to my list!
Don't forget his character in Lonely Hearts Club! Talk about something different from everything else he's done. I watched that DVD on repeat in the early 2000s.
And now, storytime: I recently had the distinct pleasure of sitting next to him and his wife one morning on a sidewalk at a cafe in London. We were both working on our NYTimes games and after he animatedly blurted out the answer to Connections I kindly called him out. Then, when he struggled with Wordle (it was the dreaded 'pshaw' day) I offered some hints. He was leaving the cafe when he finally solved it and came back over to rant about the puzzle's answer. That, perhaps, is honestly my favorite "Tim" (as his wife referred him)!
