I was kinda disappointed in the Barbie movie but this new Bollywood film called Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is everything i wanted Barbie to be and more! The costumes alone are worth it, but the story is a way better exploration of gender roles and how we can move forward together, I loved it so much! Not to mention the absolutely epic dance scenes. 🥰😍🥰😍

Love this post! Planning on seeing it, and super jealous that you went with a group that dressed up (still working on my outfit). After holding on to my Barbie for decades, I finally donated her - hopefully making someone in the Happy Valley happy. The previews with the opening sequence put me in tears every time. I was more about the Dream House and miniature furniture, food, and accessories which I continue to use in my work, which is about nothing but ornamentation, decoration and pleasant and pretty things.
