I know it’s not the point BUT we’ve always packed our kids stuff in bags (IKEA has discontinued theirs for some reason, but you can get dupes on Amazon). If you’re driving, they are easy to stack and fit in a car. If you are flying, double bag and use a TSA lock to secure. Easy to fold and store under the bed. Done!
I was getting overwhelmed with options and with the cost. I rely on Wirecutter for lots of recommendations, but their top pick in this category was way outside our budget.
